In Brief
Artois ad knocked back
The Advertising Standards Agency has banned InBev from using ads for Stella Artois that say
the lager ha s been brewed by one family for six centuries. InBev said
Stella Artois and the rest of the beers in the
range - Peeterman Artois and Artois Bock - were the result of a heritage of brewing that stretched back 600 years. But the ASA ruled
Artois should not use the ad again, and said an alternative strapline suggested by InBev - One Family, Three Beers, Six Centuries - was problematic for the same reasons.
