Koko Kanu design celebrates heritage
Coconut rum Koko Kanu has been relaunched in revamped packaging.
The makeover aims to emphasise the brand's Jamaican roots by featuring two of the island's national symbols on the label - a swallow-tailed hummingbird and the Lignum Vitae flower.
The new look is a "dramatic departure" from the brand's previous packaging, and helps to underline its "premium quality positioning" within the flavoured rum category, according to UK distributor J Wray & Nephew.
Marketing manager Mariam Ridley said: "An important part of the repackaging was to celebrate the brand's strong Jamaican heritage, while ensuring that its premium credentials were clearly communicated - something that this fabulous bottle really achieves."
Koko Kanu has 37.5 per cent abv and retails for £14.99.
