New flavours to chew over
The Wrigley Company has extended its Airways and Extra Fusion chewing gum brands with new flavours.
Spearmint flavoured Airwaves Green Mint has been added to
the portfolio, along with Extra Fusion Strawberry Peach flavour and Orange Mango flavour liquid-filled pellets.
The launch of Airways Green Mint will be backed by sponsorship of the World Rally Championship on Dave TV, radio advertising on the Christian O' Connell breakfast show on Virgin Radio and press ads in Top Gear magazine.
Available in 10-pellet packs, it has an rrp of 37p.
A TV ad campaign will support the new
Extra Fusion variants, along with sponsorship of Channel 4 teen drama Hollyoaks. Available in pellet blister packs, both have an rrp of 49p.
Communications manager Alexandra MacHutchon said: "We anticipate both our summer launches to be really popular.
Both brands have an immensely loyal consumer base and the introduction of these
flavours will drive incremental sales."
