Morrissey and Fox's cunning ale
Tesco is to stock a beer co-created by Men Behaving Badly star Neil Morrissey.
The actor has teamed up with TV chef Richard Fox to create Morrissey Fox Blonde Ale as part of a series for Channel 4, which follow s the pair's attempts to set up their own microbrewery at the back of a Yorkshire pub.
The first bottles are going into 500 Tesco stores, though the beer will have a wider audience as a cask beer for the on-trade.
Two further brews are planned.
"British beer is a great institution and creating your own perfect pint was a concept that really appealed to me," said Morrissey.
The label design features a picture of Morrissey and Fox shot by fashion photographer Rankin.
The TV series, Morrissey's Perfect Pint, is to be screened in November.
