Maker’s Mark boss Samuels steps down

Maker’s Mark president Bill Samuels Jr is to retire in April after 35 years at the helm of the business.

He will become chairman emeritus and will continue to travel to promote the brand but will no longer run the business day-to-day. His son, chief operating officer Rob Samuels, will lead the brand and distillery in future.
