Aldi seeks consumers to review its wines
Aldi is seeking consumers to apply to its Aldi Wine Club as wine reviewers.
The supermarket retailer plans to select 30 members of the pubs who will have a chance to try out three bottles from its range of wines over a six-week period.
In return the retailer is asking for honest reviews of the wines using the dedicated #AldiWineClub hashtag. The new tasters will also receive a selection of tasting notes and expert tips to guide them on how to assess the aroma, flavours and body of the wine.
Aldi said the current recruitment drive for wine reviewers marks its 24th Aldi Wine Club. It is also continuing to encourage its wine consumers to try out its free online wine course Aldiploma, which seeks to “remove the snobbery from traditional wine tasting with pressure-free e-learning modules”.
