Majestic enters own-label wine market
Majestic has launched its first ever own-label range under the name Definition.
A Chablis (£15.99), Chardonnay from Limoux in France (£12.99), Italian Pinot Grigio (£9.99), Sancerre (£17.99), Provence Rosé (£12.99) and Côtes du Rhône (£11.99) are all on sale from now.
New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc (£11.99), Claret (£12.99); New Zealand Pinot Noir (£15.99); Rioja Reserva (£12.99); Argentinian Malbec (£11.99); and Prosecco Brut NV (£12.99) will all join the range on October 1.
The range has been over two years in the making and has been designed to reflect the best available from major wine regions around the world.
Buying director Justin Apthorp said: “The Definition range showcases what we consider to be the most important wine styles in the world.
“Each wine represents the definitive style of its region and they’re produced by some of the world’s leading winemakers.
“Definition is a great way to get chatting about wine with our customers and it’s an easy way to explore wine-making areas and grape varieties.”
