2005 Clay Station Viognier
Supplier: Bibendum
An elegant white from California with peach and jasmine on the nose followed by juicy apricot and tropical fruits on the palate. A creamy, lingering finish.

Trencherman Shiraz 2005
(Tulip glass)
Supplier: Al Fresco Wines
Pre-filled and sealed shatter-proof wine glasses seem a natty idea for the summer picnic season, but it was with trepidation that I tasted the Australian Shiraz , which had worked up an unappealing foam during the journey home in my bag. The purple wine has a vinegary nose of dark stewed fruit and is thin on the palate with an unpleasant aftertaste that lingered like a n unwelcome guest. RE
2006 Solora Unwooded Chardonnay
Supplier: Palandri
A rich, dry, high-alcohol Australian white with stone fruit on the nose followed by pineapple and grapefruit on the palate. Needs thorough chilling to enjoy at its best. EE
