I find the best tip to get on well in this business is always be a friendly face as no one will buy willingly from someone they dislike. As a wine importer and distributor, it's important to show retailers you are there to sell them wines, but also to re assure them your interests lie in helping them grow as a business with added support on POS or price breaks at larger volumes. Taking a different approach and helping others to grow their business is really key to success.
