Seven more years of ID

I am sick of hearing about retailers trying to push the age limit for buying alcohol up and up. I am 18 years old and I work in an off-licence, but when I shop elsewhere I get asked for ID. And if everyone starts a Challenge 25 policy, it will be seven years before retailers stop challenging me, as if I shouldn't really be there.

At 18, I am entitled to drive a car, get married, have children, join the army, smoke, and - legally - to drink. So why should I face another seven years of ID checks and suspicious looks from people in drinks shops?
