Thierry's is adding a rosé Prosecco to its Ravelli brand. The tank-fermented sparkling wine is a half-and-half blend of Prosecco and Raboso, a high-quality red grape indigenous to Veneto. Thierry's describes Ravelli Prosecco Raboso as a "full-bodied, fruity rosé" with an "elegant and intense bouquet - dry, soft and well-balanced on the palate". The wine has been listed in Tesco and will sell for £6.99.

The English Wine Festival will be moving to Glynde Place in Glynde, East Sussex, this year after outgrowing its previous venue, the English Wine Centre. The 33rd festival, run in conjunction with the Regional Food Festival, will take place on Sept 22 and 23. For details and tickets visit

Supplier Free Run Wines is the latest company to offer wine in PET bottles. The Bordeaux-style bottles are "designed to combine the premium look and feel of glass with the modern convenience of PET", said the company. A range of £3.99 French wines, targeted at the UK off-trade, will be developed over the next few months. From September, Free Run Wines' French partner, La Fiée des Lois, will be able to fill the PET wine bottles at its premises.

Tempus Two has unveiled the latest addition to the recently-launched Copper range - Tempus Two Copper Moscato 2007. Produced in the traditional Italian Moscato di Asti style and bottled under crown seal, the 8 per cent abv wine has 70g/l of residual sugar. Produced by winemaker Liz Jackson, the wine is made from 100 per cent Moscato sourced from estate-owned vineyards in south eastern Australia. It is available through McGuigan Simeon Wines and has an rrp of £7.99.
