Hawley extols joys of whisky-making
Two new tracks by singer-songwriter Richard Hawley have been released through Glenfiddich’s UK website.
The tracks are the final two on the Dufftown Songs EP, inspired by the whisky-making process Hawley witnessed on a trip to the distillery.
As well as the free downloads, fans of the artist and the whisky can enter a competition to win tickets for a live show at the Albannach bar in London’s Trafalgar Square on December 6.
The website also features exclusive footage of Hawley in the studio.
Hawley said: “I get my inspiration from a wide range of places, so it’s been a real challenge to capture and convey the magical way Glenfiddich transforms water into whisky.
“The live performance is going to be really exciting. These are complex and innovative tracks which will be a challenge to pull off live.”
