Hobgoblin focuses on Halloween

Hobgoblin is declaring itself the “unofficial beer of Halloween” and is launching a marketing blitz to capitalise on what it says has become a key sales period for the ale brand.

Bottles have been given a Halloween theme with a limited-edition label, offering consumers the chance to win a haunted weekend break in the Oxfordshire countryside and a tour of the Wychwood Brewery, now part of Marston’s.

The “lagerboy” advertising has been adapted and features the seasonal strapline: It’s the damned fine flavour that grabs them by the ghoulies.
