Harvey Nichols launches own-label pre-mixed range

Upmarket retailer Harvey Nichols has launched its first ever range of premixed cocktails in order to capitalize on strong growth in the cartegory.

Its Old Fashioned Vesper Martini and Negroni mixes are available in 10cl bottles selling for £6, or 70cl bottles retailing at £35.

The Old Fashioned blends Old Forester bourbon, bitters from Fee Brothers, orange oil and muscovado sugar.

The Vesper Martini, beloved by James Bond, uses Portobello Road gin, Fair vodka, Lillet Blanc and a dash of lemon oil.

Portobello Road is also the base for its Negroni, which features Italian sweet Vermouth and Campari too.

“After months of testing to create the perfect flavour profiles of three classics, we are very happy with the outcome,” said Rob Graves, head of food and beverage buying. “We have also been working on a fourth cocktail, a festive Blood Orange and Clove Negroni, that will be launching at Christmas.”
