The red wines include: Villa Antinori (normal full price £15.99), which is described as a “baby super Tuscan, made from one of the most reputable estates in Italy”. The 2015 vintage has “complex aromas of red fruits, cherries and plums”.
The Hedonist Shiraz (normal full price £14.49) is made by award-winning veteran winemaker Walter Clappis, and Chateau Lalande d’Auvion Medoc Cru (normal full price £15.99) has been produced from a sixth-generation family-run left bank estate.
Also in the list of reds is El Piadoso Rioja Gran Reserva DOCa (normal full price £16.99); this is from the “excellent” 2008 vintage and it is aged for 36 months in oak barrels and a further 60 months in bottle.
