Nisa reveals Heritage Signature Blends spirits range
Nisa is launching its Heritage Signature Blends spirits range at the end of May.
The six-strong range was introduced to Nisa members at the company’s annual retail exhibition, held at Stoneleigh earlier this month, and the line-up includes: Brandy, Blended Scotch Whisky, Dark Rum, Vodka, London Dry Gin and a White Rum.
Tracey Redfearn, Heritage brand manager at Nisa, sad: “We received some evry positive feedback from many members about the transition from the sub brands into Heritage. The range now has more of an identity and a more premium look and feel.
“The gin, vodka and whisky were particularly popular and we are hoping that members will buy into our whole range over the coming months.”
The company said its members have also given “a big thumbs up” to the new vintage of Heritage wine that was unveiled at the trade show. This follows on from the success of the initial launch of the own-label wine when it was first introduced to Nisa members in 2017.
The range, which is all now sourced from South Africa, comprises the same five varietals: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Merlot and a Rose.
Redfearn said: “These great quality wines have improved flavour profiles and members were impressed with them when sampling at Stoneleigh. They continue to offer members a fabulous wine and a brilliant and constant price point.”
Valerie Aston, director at the Proudfoot Group, said: “Proudfoot listed the Heritage wine from day one recognising a quality wine at an everyday low price in a very competitive market place.
“We continue to promote using ‘Everyday Low Price’ shelf edge labels and in-store listings.
“Our 2018 sales are set to treble 2017 sales – 7,000 bottles – and we now have many customers purchasing on a regular basis.”
