Craft Beer Rising 2018 set to be "bigger and better than ever"

Craft Beer Rising (CBR) is set to return to London for 2018 with the event taking place from February 22 to 24.

The event, which will be held in The Old Truman Brewery on London’s Brick Lane, is described as “the UK’s biggest craft beer festival”, and the organisers have said this year is set to be “bigger and better than ever before”.

A CBR spokesman said: “Since its inception, CBR has built up a solid reputation as the launchpad for exciting new brews and innovations in the brewing industry. Beer fans travel from afar to taste the beers, check out product launches and for the rare chance to meet the faces behind the bands.

“This year 175 breweries will exhibit at CBR with well-established beers such as Meantime, Sierra Nevada and Oakham Ales alongside local rising stars like Gipsy Hill, Brixton Brewery and Mondo. Exciting new additions for 2018 include Lost + Found, Unity Brewing Co and Fierce Beer.”

The event also has a section for cider, which this year will include a host of producers, including: Caple Rd Cider, Hawkes London, Kentish Pip, Orchard Pig, Pilango, Sheppy’s, The Cotswold Cider Co and Thistly Cross Cider.

The 2018 event will also feature more food options, with this year’s line up set to include Kolkati Indian food, PFQ: Prairie Fire BBQ, Little Jack Horners, Serious Pig, Salty Loins – Dipped Pork Connoisseurs, Paxton & Whitfield, Malt & Pepper, The Curators, the South African-inspired Woza, Salty Dog, Porky’s, Le Boa, Fleisch Mob, Mac to the Future, Cleaver & Keg and Steamers dumplings.
