Jack Daniel's introduces Single Barrel Barrel Strength

Jack Daniel’s has launched a new expression as part of its Single Barrel Collection.

The new Single Barrel Barrel Strength expression has been created in response to growth in the American Whiskey category. The newcomer will enable more discerning consumers to continue to explore “the heart of Tennessee craft”, according to the producer.

Presented at 129 proof (64.5% abv) by Jack Daniel’s master distiller, Jeff Arnett, the single barrel Tennessee Whiskey is believed to best reflect the flavour created by handmade, toasted and charred, American white oak barrels. The product is 80% corn, 12% malt and 8% rye grain.

The resulting whiskey is described as being aromatic, “surprisingly smooth”, and with notes of brown sugar leading to rich toasted oak and hints of dark spice.

Each limited-edition individual bottle is hand-labelled and marked with a unique number and bottling date.
