Healeys resurrects old cider recipe
Published:  01 September, 2017

One of Cornwall’s oldest cider producers has launched a new premium variant.

Cornish Gold, which was first produced in 1980, is being relaunched by Healeys using the same recipe and complementing the Original 4.5% abv blend with an Oak Matured 6.2% abv variant.

Joe Healey, commercial director for Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm, said: “We are really proud of our Cornish Gold cyder. A mix of experience, hard work and passion has helped us to produce a premium taste that is perfect to enjoy at home, with friends or relaxing outside on a sunny day.

“This is the latest Healeys product to go on sale throughout England, helping us to reach even more people and showcase what we do best to our growing customer base.”

Cornish Gold, packaged in 50cl bottles, will sit alongside Healeys’ Rattler Cyder, Cornish Scrumpy and a range of spirits, wines and soft drinks.
