Coravin tells Londoners to Stop Screwing Around

The creators of Coravin have taken over one of the big electronic billboards at London’s Piccadilly Circus to tell passers-by to Stop Screwing Around.

Coravin uses patented technology to access and pour wine from a bottle without pulling the cork to allow shoppers to try before they buy without wasting a bottle.

This is Coravin’s first advertising campaign, and following the launch at One Picadilly the advertising will be displayed across Oxford Circus, Bond Street, Knightsbridge and Piccadilly Circus London Underground stations.

This puts it in close proximity to Coravin’s prime retailers – Harrods, Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason, Harvey Nichols and Hedonism Wines.

Coravin will also be running citywide product demonstrations and sampling to showcase the product to consumers face to face.

The team will be going into offices to spread the word and serving wine from a pop up bar.

Maarten Dekker, general manager of Coravin Europe, said: “London is a key market for us, so we’re eager to spread the word about Coravin with this brand new, daring campaign.

“We want to create a real impact in the city, and make more people aware of the fantastic benefits that Coravin can bring to wine lovers – whilst also supporting our key retailers in the capital as we head into the festive season.”
