Arran brewery announces investment plans
Arran Brewery has earmarked £80,000 to triple its production output with a further £80,000 being invested to help it reach new international markets.
The company said the expansion would also create new jobs and follows news that it is also planning to open Scotland’s first Sake brewery in Dreghorn.
Veronica Michaluk, the brewery’s international marketing manager said: “This is great news and will see the brewery enter new markets around the world, currently we only export to Spain, France and Japan.
“The investment on Arran will see production capacity increase three fold and costs substantially reduced. More fermenting capacity will be added along with an increase in storage tanks and a mill and associated grain storage and handing equipment.”
