Constellation cuts top off-trade job?
Constellation has restructured its sales
division as part of a review of its structure following its sale to Champ Private Equity last month.?At the time of the deal Constellation said there were no planned redundancies, but this week off-trade head David Butcher left the business after his job was merged with the on-trade team.
James Lousada, general manager for Europe, said: “Following a review of how we optimise our sales structure, we have taken the decision to combine the heads of on and off-premise sales into one sales director role for the UK.
Tom Wallis, who currently heads up on-premise sales, becomes sales director for the UK and Ireland with immediate effect.”
“This change in business structure has resulted in David Butcher, vice-president for off-premise sales departing the business. We would like to take this opportunity to thank David for his contribution to Constellation Wines.”
