New look for ales
Wells & Young's has given a facelift to its Waggle Dance and Banana Bread beers. The beers, originally produced by Young's and Charles Wells respectively, now carry the name of the combined business.
Art for all with Beck's
Massive Attack are to headline Beck's Fusions 2008 in Manchester this September. The promotion will build on the brand's 20-year association with contemporary art and is being hailed by Inbev as the "UK's biggest ever collaborative art and music project". The dance music group will be joined by the United Visual Artists collective at the Castlefield Arena on Sept 6. To support the initiative, Inbev is introducing The Studio at becks.co.uk, where budding artists can submit their artworks inspired by a set Fusions brief.
Newcastle Brown Ale is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Angel of the North by introducing special edition labels. The label shows the Antony Gormley statue and the new back label provides details about the iconic artwork.
