Cognac Frapin launches vintage blend

Cognac Frapin has launched the latest in a series of blends of outstanding vintages.

Multimillesime is a blend of 1982, 1983 and 1985 spirits, harvested, distilled and aged at Château Fontpinot in Grande Champagne.

Cellar master Olivier Paultes said: “We use 1982 for its rancio style and oxidative notes of dried fruits and nuts, spice, wood and wax.

“The 1983 has a fruity character, despite its age, and the 1986 binds them together, bringing elegance and finesse.”?Only 1,270 bottles have been produced and individually numbered bottles carry an rrp of £170.

The Cognac is being distributed in the UK by McKinley Vintners.
